We have done nothing for two days, the first morning we arrived in Arequipa about 8 am, the hostel picked us up and fortunately we were able to check into our room already. So we did, and we slept for five hours before going for a walk around town. Slept through breakfast, then sat around in our room watching movies all day - i guess that is what happens when you have a tv and 80 channels, some of them in English! THen slept again, which brings us to today. Might go for a walk to the supermarket and buy some stuff and cook our own tonight, as we are getting sick of eating out.
We are going to do a 2 day one night trek into the Colca Canyon, the world´s second deepest at roughly 3.2kms (second only to its neighbour the cotahuasi which is just a touch deeper) They assure us that it is a very easy trek. It bloody better be, I am a bit over trekking. That´s tomorrow night/early morning that one starts. So we can blow off today in Arequipa not doing alot, and hopèfully get this damn package sent. The nice girl in the hostel offered to come to the post office with us so I might take her up on that.
